The Know Your Town Annual Dinner Meeting for members and friends will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2017 at the Willits Hallowell Center on the Mount Holyoke College campus in South Hadley, MA. The event offers a wonderful opportunity to meet other community members and learn about topics of interest in South Hadley. Newcomers are welcome to join KYT and attend.
Andrew Fisk, PhD., the Executive Director of the Connecticut River Conservancy will be the featured speaker. His talk, Living in a Changed Climate, will focus on the question, What does it mean for the Connecticut River and what should we do about it?
The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30pm, followed by a buffet dinner at 6:15pm. The menu will include beef stroganoff and vegetable stuffed sole with dill mustard cream (or a vegetarian option available by request), field green salad, vegetable medley, potato or rice, baked rolls, and chocolate layer cake and cheesecake with strawberries for dessert. The cost is $29 per person and guests are asked to RSVP by May 25.
Dr. Fisk’s talk will begin at 7:15pm and be followed by a brief business meeting.
