The question, “Should South Hadley ban production/retail shops for recreational marijuana?” will be on the ballot for the South Hadley Town Election on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
On Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 7:00pm, Know Your Town will host a forum on the topic in the Auditorium at South Hadley Town Hall. The program will feature two three-person panels addressing the ‘Vote Yes on the Ban’ and ‘Vote No on the Ban’ viewpoints. Television celebrity Ray Hershel of WGGB/WSHM News will moderate the forum.
Those addressing the Vote No position will include Attorney Richard Evans of Northampton; Peter Bernard from Mass Growers; and South Hadley resident Renee Sweeney.
Those addressing the Vote Yes position will include Dr. Abrams, Dr. Greg Petrosky, and Dr. Robert Roose.
This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
