South Hadley Volunteer Conservation Corps

Conservation Administrator/Planner Anne Capra recently formed the South Hadley Volunteer Conservation Corps. The Corps is comprised of residents who volunteer their time to assist with improving, enhancing and maintaining our trails in town, mostly on town-owned Conservation Area Lands. Please consider volunteering–all are welcome!

Upcoming Volunteer Corps Opportunities:

  • Tue 9/3.19–Bachelor Brook Conservation area; meet at 9:30am
    A second day of pulling water chestnut from Bachelor Brook (at the Connecticut River)
  • Fri 9.27.19–Connecticut River Conservancy Source-to-Sea Cleanup; 8am-12pmBeachgrounds Park will be the starting point and staging area; depending on the number of voulnteers, we will branch out along Main Street like we did last year.
