Nomination papers for town-wide offices are now available and may be obtained through Friday, February 18, 2022 at 5:00pm. For town-wide office, verified signature by a minimum of 50 voters of the town (additional signers are suggested in case some are unable to be verified). Nomination papers must be filed with the Town Clerk by Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 5:00pm.
The Annual Town Election will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. All precincts vote at South Hadley High School, 153 Newton Street, South Hadley. As temporary state laws allowing no-excuse voting by mail were not extended, absentee ballots are currently the only option to vote by mail.

Nomination papers for candidates for Town Meeting are meant to be available by January 24, 2022, but could be delayed. Information from 2020 federal census data on South Hadley precinct boundaries was approved in December by the Local Elections Division Review Commission and updates to the local voter registration database are currently pending.
